One of the more popular orbea varieties, Lutea produces beautiful yellow flowers and is very easy to care for. It does best in protected outdoor spaces where it receives bright indirect light, protection from rain, and is exposed to variation in temperature during the day/night and seasonally.
Luteas are small plants that grow erect, spikey stems (about 10cm maximum height). The flowers can grow to approximately 5cm diameter
As with all orbeas, it tolerates heat but will not tolerate overwatering. It is very easy to care for. We recommend getting a variety of orbeas, huernias and stapelias for your patio, to ensure you always have something that is flowering. It is definitely worth the wait.
NOTE: Plants shipped typically will not be flowering. The flower in the picture is to show what you can expect when this plant flowers. Good long term care and proper conditions are usually required for this plant to flower.
